JYJ Park Yoochun to Enlist for Mandatory Military Service Quietly in Late August

JYJ member and actor Park Yoochun will be enlisting for his mandatory military service quietly in late August.

Through an official press release, his agency C-JeS Entertainment announced that the star will be enlisting without any fanfare on August 27. The official statement read that the actor has voiced his wish to enlist quietly in privacy.

They also announced that Yoochun and his group member Kim Junsu will be holding a fan meeting on August 25 before his enlistment, to share one last moment with the fans before his two-year duty.

Park Yoochun will be enlisting for his duty in the military at Chungnam Nonsan Training Camp on August 27.

Fans had been preparing themselves for JYJ Yoochun's entrance into the army since his enlistment date, August 27, was announced back in May. And that date continues to draw nearer and nearer. 

His agency has now updated the public with the statement, "Yoochun will enter the military in private on August 27. We have come to this decision as Yoochun himself wants to enter quietly, and the training center has said media coverage would be difficult."

They added, "On August 25, Yoochun and Junsu will be able to spend time with fans at the '2015 JYJ Membership Week' fanmeeting. We are respecting Yoochun's wishes to have precious time with fans, and then enlist quietly."

Park Yu Chun revealed he will be enlisting in the army quietly.

A rep from C-JeS Entertainment stated on August 11 that Park Yu Chun′s entrance to the training camp will not be made public. 

The agency stated, "His [Park Yu Chun′s] own will to enlist quietly and the training camp side′s opinion that media coverage would be difficult were taken together to make this decision." The agency continued, "We ask for your understanding once again on our decision to keep it private after taking into consideration various difficulties regarding media coverage." 

Instead, the agency rep stated that the 2015 JYJ Membership Week, taking place on August 25, will be a space for Park Yu Chun and Kim Junsu to spend time with fans. The agency stated, "The agency wants to respect Park Yu Chun′s wish to spend time with fans before he enters training camp and to enter quietly." 

Meanwhile, Park Yu Chun will enter training camp on August 27.
