The Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism and Korea Creative Content Agency(KOCCA) presided over the ‘K-Drama Showcase’ at the United Kingdom’s largest drama conference, the ‘London Drama Summit’ recently and raised the likelihood of Korean dramas expanding into the European market.
At this event, a total of 160 people of the world’s leading broadcasters and production companies, drama experts and etc. locally and throughout the United Kingdom, of course, attended. At the location, a conference progressed with ‘K-Drama Screening’ and ‘Drama International Co-production’ as the topics to introduce outstanding domestic dramas.
At the ‘K-Drama Screening’, they showed highlight videos of 10 works of outstanding Korean dramas where the individuality of:
△KBS ‘Unkind Women’ ‘Assembly’ ‘Golden Cross’
△ SBS ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells’ ‘Heard It Through the Grapevine’ ‘Yong-pal’
△ MBC ‘She Was Pretty’
△ CJ E&M ‘Misaeng’
and others stood out. They received big responses from local spectators.
