The release of “Lucid Dream,” a movie starring Park Yoo-chun of K-pop trio JYJ, has been postponed indefinitely following the scandal involving the singer.
The film was originally slated to hit cinemas this fall, but was put on hold after Park was accused of sexual assault by four women.
A woman pressed charges against Park on June 4 for sexually assaulting her. Three more women later followed suit with sexual assault charges against him.
One of the women has since withdrawn her accusation, but police are still investigating, as Korean law allows authorities to investigate sex crimes without the support of the victim.
The production company of “Lucid Dream” said in a press release that they “are still discussing the release date of the movie.”
