Fans from different countries including the Philippines have united to express support to embattled K-pop star Yoochun, who is being investigated for allegedly assaulting four women.
In a statement provided to Bulletin Entertainment, fan group JYJ Lovers in the Philippines declared they will always stand by Yoochun.
Addressing the star, they said, “We will be with you all throughout this struggle. We will continue to pray that all these issues thrown at you will be settled soon. And no matter what happens, we will stand by you and love you like we always do.”
They added, “We pray that you and your family are holding on to your faith that everything will be alright in the end. We are here, your family in the Philippines. We love you and will keep on supporting you. You gave us inspiration now we want to be your inspiration, your strength and your shield.”
JYJ Lovers describe Yoochun a “true gentleman.”
“He loves his mom and his only brother to the core, and he would never do anything as worse as he is being accused of. These accusations have dragged his name low and he and his family have surely been distressed. The selfless Yoochun who we know would be worrying for his mom and brother, his family and friends and most especially his true fans,” they said.
JYJ Lovers also encouraged other supporters to come out and write letters of support for the singer and actor.
Each of the fan group’s administrators also offered petition masses for Yoochun in different churches in Metro Manila.
