But of course, there’s always an exception to every rule, and in this week’s edition of Celeb Crushin’, we turn the spotlight to the select few who’ve managed to successfully master both their idol and acting careers.

JYJ's Yoochun

Defining drama: Sungkyunkwan Scandal
Yoochun didn’t exactly have a smooth start to his career as an actor. The former-TVXQ member was widely panned for his poor acting initially, but eventually overcame previous criticisms with his turn as Lee Sunjoon in the 2010 drama, Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Yoochun then went on to win a plethora of awards for his performance, including the Best New Actor award at the KBS Drama Awards.
