Park Yuchun & Kim Jaejoong during their military service, ‘Not on hiatus’

Park Yuchun gets great positive responses toward his first solo album since debuting
Kim Jaejoong, also, plans on releasing his 2nd regular album next month

Group JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong and Park Yuchun are trying to share their feeling with their fans while on hiatus in relations with their military service. Also Kim Junsu, as well, is active on various stages and continuing on the group’s name.
Kim Jaejoong and Park Yuchun –who are in the middle of serving in the army and as a Social Services(public service) worker, respectively– are presenting new albums. They are trying to minimize the gap in their entertainment activities, while appeasing fans’ regrets at the same time.
The two people elevated their degree of perfection with a mini-album and regular album jam-packed with over 6∼10 songs, not a digital single that contains 1∼2 songs. Both albums include their own colors with songs laid out from when it was worked on in their spare times before they enlisted.
Park Yuchun put out, on the 18th, his first solo album ‘How Much Love Do You Have In Your Wallet’ since his debut in 2004. There were heated interests shown domestically, of course, and in China, Japan, and other foreign countries; in regards to it being his first solo album.
He personally created the album title, music video story, album jacket image and more. Japan’s New Age pianist Yuhki Kuramoto attracted attention, composing ‘Nostalgic, While Turning Over the Page’. It is the first time Yuhki Kuramoto gave a song to a different singer and it was Park Yuchun.
Kim Jaejoong, too, will be releasing a regular album for the second time in February. It has been 2 years and 4 months since his 1st regular album ‘WWW’ in 2014.
It is okay for him to be active full-fledged after he gets discharged from the army and release an album, but it is said he wished “to repay  fans’ constant loves”. To follow, he is holding a concert using a hologram at Yoyogi National First Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan on February 9th and 10th.
Their agency said, “They wanted to fill their vacancy in their hiatus of more than 2 years,” and, “Despite not doing promotions since they are in the middle of their army service, they are spending their attentions at home and abroad”.
Meanwhile Kim Junsu, who is in the middle of his activities alone, received the Popularity Award from the 11th Golden Ticket Awards. With an award that ticket reservations site Interpark tallied up and chosen from ticket sales volume, audience voting, and etc. amid all the performances over the past year; Kim Junsu recorded the largest number of votes in the person category. Prior to this, he received the Popularity Award from the 25th Seoul Music Awards held on the 14th.
